Class of 2027 quarterback Ethan Smith is enrolling at Bishop Dunne in Dallas this fall. Smith is set to play this fall at Dunne after coming over from Waxahachie High School.
Smith is a 6-foot-3 200 pound sophomore, who has all the tools to play the quarterback position at a high level. He has a big arm with the ability to stretch the field with the deep and he has excellent touch on his throws downfield. Smith has the athleticism to make accurate throws on the run outside the numbers. He is just scratching the surface and has a tremendous upside.
The Bishop Dunne Falcons are coming off a 3-7 season in 2023. With Smith in the fold, Dunne will have a young signal caller who has the tools to be a difference maker at the quarterback position. Keep and eye on Dunne this season, as Smith will have an opportunity to compete for a starting position with the Falcons.

Elijah Smith, Ethan's older brother will also make the move to Dunne this fall. Smith is a class of 2025 TE/DL, who will have the chance to play alongside his brother this fall. At 6-foot 230 pounds, Elijah is a reliable target at tight end who has strong hands and knows how to get open. Defensively, Smith has a quick first step with active hands that enables him to be disruptive on the interior. Look for both Smith brothers to have the opportunity to earn playing time this fall as Bishop Dunne gets ready to began fall practice.
