Isaiah Washington is a 6’3” wide receiver from Milby High School in Houston and a rising prospect in the Class of 2027.
Washington is an exceptional route runner, making quick, fluid cuts, with the ability to keep his shoulders square to the line of scrimmage when running slant routes across the middle.
On go routes and other deep-developing patterns, Washington shows outstanding ball-tracking ability and consistently catches the ball with his hands, never letting it get into his body.
He makes contested catches with confidence and maintains possession through contact from defensive backs.
Once the ball is in his hands, Washington demonstrates excellent vision to find running lanes through the secondary and he has the speed to separate from defenders, turning any reception into a potential touchdown.
He runs a smooth stop-and-go route, effortlessly slipping behind defenders to get open and pick up yards after the catch.
Washington is also a dynamic kick returner, using sharp cuts to find open lanes and the acceleration to explode through coverage, often breaking free into the open field.
Any coach who earns Washington’s commitment will be thrilled to have taken the chance on such a talented and polished playmaker.
