Jay Pace's Tennessee Power Poll Week 9 Edition

ree

The Tennessee high school football season is heating up as Jay Pace’s Week 9 Power Poll highlights several programs continuing their unbeaten streaks.

Leading the pack is Oakland (7-0), maintaining its grip on the No. 1 spot with another strong performance. Close behind, Baylor (6-0) and Brentwood Academy (7-0) round out the top three, showcasing Tennessee’s impressive balance of private and public school powerhouses.

The middle of the rankings features a host of undefeated squads, including Nashville Christian (7-0), Alcoa (7-0), Boyd Buchanan (7-0), Ravenwood (7-0), and Antioch (7-0),  all proving that consistency and depth are key to late-season success.

Franklin Road Academy (6-1) and McCallie (4-2) complete the top ten, both having faced challenging schedules that keep them in contention.

Rounding out the top 20, programs like Oak Ridge (7-0), Page (6-0), and Sevier County (6-1) continue to make noise, while Maryville (6-1) and South Pittsburg (6-1) remind fans that perennial contenders remain dangerous as playoff time nears.

With so many undefeated and one-loss teams crowding the rankings, Tennessee football fans can expect an intense finish as Week 10 approaches and postseason brackets begin to take shape.
