Nashville Christian Survives Scare From Tyner
Tyner’s toughness continues to shine in what is shaping up to be a magical season for third-year head coach Christian Mainor and the Rams.
Despite being without the services of starting quarterback Tyler Anderson, the Rams took Nashville Christian to the brink Friday night in the Music City. It took four turnovers and every ounce of effort from two of the state’s best players, in quarterback Jared Curtis (UGA) and running back TJ Ward Jr. (TCU) to finally hand Tyner its first loss of the season.
The Rams are for real.
Pirates Continue To Dominate
South Pittsburg has played like a team possessed over the last seven weeks, a fact Lookout Valley can certainly attest to following a 76–6 blowout Friday night.
Ten different Pirates found the end zone in a game that was over before the first quarter ended.
Adams Lifts Antioch Over Franklin Road Academy
Class of 2027 four-star quarterback prospect Andre Adams continues to dazzle for Antioch. The dynamic dual-threat quarterback, who recently set a state record for total yards in a single game (714), accounted for all nine of the Panthers’ touchdowns in a thrilling 64–62 win over Franklin Road Academy.
Remember his name, chances are you’ll be hearing it a lot over the next several years.
